Experience
I received my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Biology, minoring in psychology, and my certification in teaching. I am committed to helping students learn, no matter what their experiences in learning are. I am a patient person, and this has been bolstered by my experience helping learning disabilities students. My experience includes five years of clinical and one year of professional experience. I am able to tutor subjects in earth science, biology, life sciences, and environmental science. The subjects I enjoy teaching the most are environmental science and biology. However, I am able to teach and tutor any subject with the same amount of excitement. I am a passionate animal lover! When I am not teaching, I enjoy being an animal caretaker and an avid equestrian. With my love of animals, comes my desire to have as many companion pets around me as I can (especially the ones that need help), and I do. I reach out to all animals that need help to nurture them back to health, including wild animals. The most recent animal I have nurtured back to health was a squirrel I came across at college. While in high school, I enjoyed being actively involved in theater. I play violin and sing as well.
